Dorothy Garcia Silva passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the age of 98. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, auntie, cousin, loyal friend was born on March 23, 1920 in Honolulu. Dorothy lived each day with grace, gratefulness and faith. She taught all of us to, "Make each day beautiful." Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Jovenal Silva, her parents, and all five of her younger brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Stephen (Sharon) Silva and PJ Silva of Honolulu. She is also survived by her five granddaughters, ten great-grandchildren, a great-great grandson, nieces, nephews and all who were blessed by her life. Dorothy's Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Star of the Sea church. Aloha attire. Private Burial at Mililani Memorial Park.
