MISUKO INOUYE MITZI 90, of Aiea, passed away on April 3, 2019. Born in Hakalau, Hawaii, she was a retired J. C. Penney sales associate. She enjoyed a full life of working, taking care of the family, babysitting, watching endless baseball games, gardening, and taking trips all over the world. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church (formerly Grace Brethren) where her faith in the Lord brought her great comfort over the years. Preceded in death by husband, Richard, she is survived by her daughters, Vicki and Valerie Inouye; sons, Reid, Roy (Sharon) and Owen (Brenda) Inouye; nine grand- children; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews in Hawaii and the mainland. HERMAN HALEMANO KALAHIKI, JR.Affectionately known as "Jr.", "Kimo", and "Mr. Aloha", Herman passed away at home on April 22, 2019, at the age of 79. Born and raised in Kahalu'u, Herman served in the U.S. Army and eventually retired from the Honolulu Fire Department as a Firefighter, and later as an Inspector from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He was also a Tour Driver for Roberts Hawaii and a Delivery Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Herman enjoyed life, especially gatherings with Ohana and friends, who he loved dearly. Herman is survived by his wife Doreen; daughters: Marvalin (Ruben) and Laura (Jason); sons: Kenneth Wayne and Donald (Melissa); 11 grandchildren; brothers: Kenneth (Helen) and Todd and sister Irene (Tom). A private service was held. "Celebration of Life" to take place on July 27, 2019, at Ho`okano Hall from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
