If she wasn't at the beach, you could catch mom at home, singing her favorite Hawaiian and Christian songs. She loved being around her family, and...she will surely be missed... Lydia Ebright CarvalhoJanuary 23, 1931 March 23, 2018 87, of Stephenville, Texas, died Friday, March 23, 2018, in Stephenville. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 5th at 11:00 AM at St. John Vianney Parrish, 920 Keolu Drive in Kailua. Visitation with the Carvalho family will begin at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the memorial service. Lydia was born on January 23, 1931 in Honolulu, Hawaii, to the late Charles and Alexandrine Furtado Ebright. She married the love of her life, Jacintho 'Jack' Carvalho, Jr. on November 11, 1950, in Hawaii. They were married 44 years until his death on December 27, 1994. Prior to moving to Stephenville, Lydia was retired from Kaiser Permenente after 25 years of service. She spent her time serving others, volunteering at many numerous organizations, loved gardening and sports. She was a member of St. John Vianney Parrish in Hawaii, and St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Stephenville, Texas. Preceding her in death were her husband, Jack; her parents; sister, Alberta Souza; and brother, Charles Ebright, Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Debra Jarrett of Kenmore, WA, and Dori and husband Steve Gunn of Stephenville, TX; two sons, Russell and wife Debbie Carvalho, and Ronald Jacintho Carvalho both of Kailua; grandchildren, Jonah, Jerome, Joshua, Billy, Justin, Stephanie, Brady, and Tye; great grandchildren, Jonah, Samuel, Shelby, Chayne, Kahealani, Destiny, Diamond, Jewel, Justine, Everleigh and Sophia; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
