$nameHOWARD FREDERICK ('FRED) MOSHER Fred passed away on November 8, 2014 in La Quinta, CA. He was born on April 15, 1918 to Howard N. and Reseda (Lattimore) Mosher in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carol of La Quinta, CA, sister Barbara Blank of Newport News, VA, daughters Lorine Walters of Kailua-Kona, HI and Molly Mosher-Cates of Kailua, HI, sons Patrick Mosher and Michael Welliver of Lakeview Terrace, CA and Christopher Mosher of Kailua, HI, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 sisters, a brother and a son. Fred graduated from Roosevelt High School, class of 1936, and attended the University of Hawaii. Early in his career he was manager of the Commercial Club, the Armed Forces Officers Club, and finally the Outrigger Canoe Club on the beach at Waikiki between the Moana Hotel and the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. In the early 1950's he became licensed as a real estate broker and appraiser and joined Honolulu Mortgage Company for 23 years serving the last 7 years as President. Fred also served on the Pioneer Federal Board of Directors for 17 years, the last 8 of which he served as Chairman. He retired from the Board in 1995 with the title of Chairman Emeritus. Fred was a 50+ year member of the Masonic Order at Honolulu Lodge, Scottish Rite, KCCH, Aloha Temple Shrine and Aloha Court #1 Royal Order of Jesters. His community involvement included Foreman of the Oahu Grand Jury, President of the Honolulu Community Theater, Chairman of the March of Dimes, and Director of the Honolulu Board of Realtors. An avid golfer for more than 35 years Fred served as President of Oahu Country Club. Fred liked to say that he was very fortunate to have lived his first 70 years in Hawaii "the Paradise of the Pacific" and the last 26 years in La Quinta, CA "the Gem of the Desert". A memorial service will be held at Kailua Beach Park Pavilion (near the boat ramp), HI at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Loose flowers are welcome. The family suggests a donation to Shriner's Hospital for Children - Honolulu, 1310 Punahou St., Honolulu, HI 96814.

Born December 14, 1947 in Honolulu, he retired as a crane operator for Hawaii Stevedore Inc., scale master for Tuna Packers. He was a 1966 graduate of Waianae High School and honorably discharged as Sgt. of the United States Air Force after tour of duty in Thailand and Vietnam. He is survived by wife, Phylis Pi'ilani Kealakai, brothers George I., Jonathan K. (Etsuko), Duke N. (Lisa) Kealakai, sisters Charleen L. Ching (Junior), Hinano Kealakai, Laura-Jo U. Kealakai. PRISCILLA L. Y. YUEN Priscilla L. Y. Yuen, 87, of Kaneohe, passed away October 30, 2014. Born April 15, 1927, she was the second oldest of six children growing up in Kalihi. Her early years were spent working at a fountain shop where she met her husband of 64 years, Robert Yuen, who predeceased her in 2013. She retired from retail work in the 80's and followed Robert to San Jose, CA. to live until the mid 90's where upon they returned home to Kaneohe. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and baking delicious dishes for her family and friends. She is survived by son, Michael; daughters, Carolyn (Larry) Chu, Annette (Tim) Fiske, Adele Yuen; two grand- children, McKenna and Keaton Fiske; brother, Herbert (Betty) Wong; and sister, Beatrice (Clarence-deceased) Souza. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all. Visitation at 10 a.m., Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary, on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Her life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., East Chapel. Casual attire. No flowers please. Private burial will be held at a later date.

$nameROBERT J. KOZUKI Robert J. Kozuki passed away on November 4, 2014 at the Queens Medical Center. He had recently been diagnosed with leukemia and had also suffered from coronary artery disease. Bob was born in Hilo, Hawaii on June 16, 1932. He and his 2 brothers grew up in Keaukaha. Following graduation from Hilo High School in 1950, Bob attended Graceland College in Iowa from 1950 to 1952. After serving two years in the Army, Bob continued his education at Central Missouri University and earned a Bachelor's Degree. He then went on to the University of Missouri where he earned his Master's Degree. It was there that he met his future wife, Mazie, who was also a student at the University. They were married in 1958. Bob went back into the Army where he was commissioned as a Captain and spent the next twenty years as a mental health worker on various military installations. His final military assignment was at Madigan Army Hospital in Fort Lewis, Washington. After retiring from the Army as a Lt. Colonel, Bob worked at Western State Hospital as the Director of Social Services for nearly twenty years. In 2000, Bob and Mazie both retired and returned to Hawaii, where they bought a home in Kapolei. In 2008, they sold their home in Kapolei and moved into the Arcadia Retirement Residence. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Tokuichi and Fujie Mihara Kozuki and his older brother Edward Kozuki. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Mazie Kozuki and his brother, Eugene (Judy) Kozuki of Des Moines Iowa and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were held at the Arcadia Retirement Residence to celebrate Bob's life and Commital services were at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. No flowers. No monetary offering.
