BRENDA KAREN MEDEIROSPassed peacefully in her sleep while surrounded by her loved ones in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 1st, 2019, at the age of 79. Born on September 14, 1939 in San Rafael, California, she was preceded by her parents Theodore Klatt and Edythe Klatt (Stram). She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Alfred K. Medeiros, siblings, Craig, Erik, Reid, and Trudi, daughters Kimberly Niel and Shannon Medeiros, beloved "Grammie" to Kate, Kayla, Kiana, and Cole, Great "Grammie" to Wyatt, beloved auntie and cherished friend to many. She will rest forever in our hearts and our memories, which we hope to share in a celebration of her life on Saturday, May 11th, 2019, at Atherton Memorial Chapel (Central Union Church) at 1660 S. Beretania Street. Visitation at 1:00pm, Services at 1:30pm, followed by Reception at 2:30pm at the Parrish Hall.

Nora Nalani Stillman WeatherwaxNora Nalani Stillman Weatherwax, 65, passed away on April 9th peacefully at home in Kuli'ou'ou, O'ahu. She was born September 22, 1953 in Honolulu to Oliver Stillman and Lola Reeves. Nora is survived by son Waipa (Lei) Parker, daughters Kealii (Adam) Po'oloa and Kamaka (Kamu) Parker; grandchildren Ariyana, Azure, Waipa, Kapua, Kahili and Ho'ea; and siblings Nancy, Frances, Lola, Aileen, Leslie, Frank and Puna. Nora had an illustrious career as the General Manager of the OHANA Waikiki Malia. She was also very active with New Hope and the Children's Ark Program. Nora was a faithful servant, dedicated leader and a beloved family member. Nora's services will be on May 18, 2019 at Oahu Cemetery with visitation from 10am-12, service 12-1pm, followed by inurnment. Arrangements Provided By: Oahu Cemetery Association

Hazel S. MilnorHazel Milnor, 98 of Honolulu, went to eternal peace on April 2, 2019. She was born in Marble, Arkansas. After receiving her RN nursing degree in San Francisco, she moved to Hawaii in 1944 to be a surgical nurse at Queens Hospital. While working there she met her future husband, Dr. John Milnor. In 1946 she returned to San Francisco and worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines from 1946-1951; flying the SF-HNL-SF route. In 1951 she married Dr. John Milnor and they had two children. Their daughter Jean Ann was born with Down syndrome; changing the focus of their lives. Hazel was a serious advocate for persons with intellectual disabilities. She was the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from ARC Hawaii in 2005. She founded Special Angels Ministry and was given the Kupuna Award from the Bishop of Hawaii, Episcopal Diocese. Hazel was devoted to her family. She created a beautiful home and loved to entertain. She collected angels and wrote poetry. She was the author of two books, "Entertaining in Hawaii" (1977) and "As Angels Watch" (1995), with their sales proceeds going to non-denominational religious education for persons with intellectual disabilities. Hazel was predeceased by husband Dr. John Milnor in 1989. She is survived by daughters Mary and Jean Ann and relatives on the mainland. A heart-felt thank you to Letty Dagulo's foster home as well as Islands Hospice. Donations can be made to ARC Hawaii and St. Clements Church. A private family blessing was held. No services planned. Thomas DoyleAge 74, died April 5, 2019 in Honolulu. Formerly of Omaha, Nebraska he has called Hawaii home for the past 30 years. Thomas is survived by his wife Elke, son Michael, daughter Kristina (Sean), granddaughter Emi, and sister Kathryn Hailey of Canberra, Australia. He worked for the Defense Commissary Agency for more than four decades and was a store director at Schofield and Hickam. His gentle nature and kindness will be missed by family, friends, and former coworkers. Private memorial services to be held at a later date. MARILYN SACHIKO KEAUOur beloved mother passed away peacefully at her home on April 5, 2019. Marilyn was born in North Kohala, Hawaii, on May 10, 1932. Mom graduated from Kohala High School and received her bachelor's degree in business from the University of Hawaii. Mom was happily married to our father, Stanley Keau, for 33 years. Mom was a skilled lauhala weaver and enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She enjoyed making and giving her pikake corsages and handmade rugs, lilikoi and fig jams and Portuguese sweet bread. Mom was a loving and devoted grandmother to her grandsons Taylor, Kalen and Zachary. She is survived by her daughters Carol Ann Keau-Jackon and Sharon Keau-Chong. Preceded in death by her husband and family. A Celebration of Mom's life will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 5PM. Services will begin at 6PM. Aloha attire.

ALLAN S. ODANIFebruary 21, 1942 - April 10, 2019 Allan Seichi Odani, 77, passed away peacefully in his home on April 10, 2019. He is survived by three children: Robin (Frank) Guiffreda, Gillian (Jay) Hart, and Nick Odani. He is also survived by his sister Shirley, nephew Jonathan, and three grandchildren: Gavin, Kahlan, and Micah. He was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i, then graduated from Kaimuki High in 1960 before joining the Army. He was Honorably Discharged in 1963. The next 56 years were spent in Los Angeles, owning a computer business, and retiring to a life of "One Monday and six Saturdays." In true Allan Odani fashion, his sendoff will take place aboard the S.S. Lane Victory in San Pedro, CA on Saturday, June 8th from 11am-2pm. He will be missed but his stories will live on.

Pastor Mark is survived by his wife Darylene Kalae (Mano) of Nanakuli, O'ahu, 4 Daughters: Raina deVault (Kapena) of Haiku, Maui; Darnell Ortiz Alboro (Carlos) of Lahaina, Maui; Rochelle Alboro (Sam) of Nanakuli, O'ahu; Liana Menze (Daniel) of Lana'i City. 8 grandsons, 7 granddaughters, 6 brothers, 3 sisters, numerous hanai'd children, nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by parents Guilhermo and Maria Alboro of Lana'i City. A funeral is scheduled for Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the ILWU Union Hall in Lana'I City at 5pm. A second funeral is scheduled for Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Ballard Family Moanalua Mortuary in Honolulu, O'ahu at 5pm.
