Arlen, 27, passed away on February 17th, 2019, in Denver, Colorado. Born in Ashland, Oregon, on November 23, 1991, Arlen was the beloved son of Sally Bieber Badenhop Nowland and Aulden Badenhop. He graduated from Ashland High School in 2010. Arlen lived in Ashland, Hawaii, and Colorado and made close friends wherever he lived and traveled. Arlen is survived by his loving parents, Sally and Aulden; his siblings, Nicholas and Ariel; and Mackenzie Whitley Arlen's Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, March 3rd, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ashland Hills Hotel and Suites Ballroom, 2525 Ashland Street, Ashland, Oregon. Justin Wing Yau Belaras
JUSTIN WING YAU BELARAS 36, was called home by our Heavenly Father on February 3, 2019 at the Queen's Medical Center. He was a loving husband, a hero to his children, a grateful son, a helpful brother, and a great friend. He graduated from Farrington High School in 2000, earned his AAS in Criminal Justice in 2005, and graduated from the University of Hawaii with a BA in Public Administration in 2006. He was a Police Officer with the Honolulu Police Department where he proudly served the community he grew up and lived in. Justin is survived by his wife Sheena, son Urijah, daughter Serenity, parents, Larry and Marian, and brothers, Jeremy and Jarrett Belaras. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, parents-in-law and brothers and sisters-in-law that miss him dearly. Services will be held on March 8, 2019 at Borthwick Mortuary. MYRL ANN STONE
94, passed away peacefully at her home in Makiki on December 10, 2018. She was born in Bakersfield, California on May 18, 1924. In 1942, she married William Stone and moved to Honolulu where they both worked for the Navy at Pearl Harbor. They eventually opened Trading Center, one of Hawaii's first department stores, then became a part of Wigwam Stores. Later they opened art galleries on O'ahu and the outer islands. Myrl enjoyed oil painting, golfing, traveling and going to church. The Nazarene Church was a very important part of her life where she was a charter member. Myrl will be remembered as a kind, loving mother and friend. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Hancock and Patricia Stone, and Patricia's husband, Allen Canter. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Honolulu First Church of the Nazarene, 408 N. Judd Street, Honolulu, 96822.
