ROGER H. YAMAUCHI
Roger H. Yamauchi passed away in Honolulu on November 17, 2016, after a year long valiant struggle with ALS. He was born in Pasco, Washington, and came to the Islands in 1969. Roger was a painter extraordinaire who was in high demand not just for his craft but also his creative/ resourceful problem-solving skills, wit, generosity, and random acts of kindness. He is survived by his wife (Nem Lau), son (Simon Lau-Yamauchi), siblings (Linda Reiko Adkinson, Susan Yamauchi, Bruce Yamauchi), numerous cousins in the Pacific Northwest, and a vast network of friends in Hawaii. A memorial service will be held on December 12, 2016, 3:00 PM, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl). Casual "Roger Style" attire: shorts and slippahs okay.
