Benjamin Tamotsu Okabe, 87, of Waianae, a retired farmer, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Alice T.; sons Harrison T., Ronald T. and Rodney M.; daughters Kathleen K. Woo and Monica M. Medlin; sisters Rose Watanabe and Grace Kamihara; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Sept. 2 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire.
