Juan Rumbaoa “Johnny” Magaoay, 81, of Lanai City, a retiree from Castle & Cooke, died in Honolulu. He was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by wife Venancia; sons Marcos, Ernest and Joseph; daughters Josie Hermano, Julie Sankey and Jenny Alboro; brothers Ricardo and Miguel; sister Margarita Manual; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services: 6:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at ILWU Hall, Lanai. Mass: 10 a.m. Jan. 11 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus & Mary Church, Lanai. Burial to follow at Lanai Cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
