Efrain “EJ” de la Cruz Jr., 22, of Kapolei, an employee at Maui Divers and Estee Lauder, died in Seoul. He was born in Fort Hood, Texas. He is survived by parents Efrain and Venus; brother Ethan; sisters Calista Smith, Miranda Scantlin and Sarah and Olivia de la Cruz; and grandparents Aurea dela Cruz and Max and Donna Recod. Visitation: 9 a.m. Jan. 9 at Friendship Baptist Church, 91-1130 Renton Road, Ewa Beach. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 2:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Aloha or casual attire. Flowers welcome.
