Tokio Taniguchi, also known as “Jackson,” “Lefty” and “Yankee,” 92, of Aiea, a retired construction superintendent with Pacific Construction and EE Black and an Army veteran who served with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, 552nd Field Artillery Battalion, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Ewa Beach. He is survived by son Myles J.; daughter Lori-Ann T.; brothers Torao, Takao and Kikumaru; and three grandchildren. Service: 3 p.m. Dec. 27 at Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin.
