EDWARD K. YOUNG Edward K Young, 58, passed away peacefully at home in Lacey, WA on August 14, 2015. He worked for the Special Commitment Center on McNeil Island, WA at the Secure Community Transition Facility. Born in Honolulu, HI, he was a graduate of Iolani School and the University of Hawaii, and for many years resided in Waimea on the Big Island. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; son, Ryan; daughter, Kelsey; sisters, Pamela Westenhaver and Linda; and brother, Steven. A Celebration of Life service will be held in Honolulu at a later date. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and Providence Sound Home Care and Hospice.
