Yoshio Yanagihara, 91, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii Community College auto body instructor, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Sachiko; son Edwin; daughters Alice Kimura and Nancy Higa; brothers Myron, Kazuo and Noboru; sister Dora K. Akina; and three grandchildren. Private services.
