Richard Allen “Sonny” Sonoda, 70, of Honolulu, business owner of Sonoda Body and Fender Shop, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Derrick; daughters Dale Sonoda-Kodama and Dayna Sonoda; brothers Henry “Sergeant Bido,” Todd “Aku,” Kent “Mousey,” Eugene “Chucko” and Peter “Peter-Boy” Sonoda, and Warren Waikiki; sister Lorna W. Zablan; and four grandchildren. Visitation: noon Sunday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 1 p.m.
