Helen May Piilani “Neke” Kamana, 73, of Waianae, a retiree of the state Department of Education Hawaiian-studies program and Ewa Beach Limu Project, died in Ewa Beach. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Walter and Lopena; daughters Muilun, Pearl and Patricia; hanai daughter Bridgett Hanaike; brother Harry Kaai; sisters Martha Kahookele and Frances Kaai; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m Friday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10:30 a.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
