Chiyoko Yagi, 89, of Hilo, formerly of Papaikou, Hawaii, a retired state Department of Taxation auditor, died in Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by sons Alan and Calvin; daughters Janice Sheldon and Clarice Kaneshiro; brother Paul Oshiro; sisters Kikue Shimabukuro, Natsuko Aoki, Yoshino Chung and Doris Onishi; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at Kinoole Baptist Church in Hilo, 1815 Kinoole St. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
